I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season! We had so much to be thankful for in 2017, and look forward to another successful and exciting show season in 2018! The Carolinas feature some of the best exhibitors, trainers, barns, venues, and competition in the industry. We continued to produce top winners in all divisions across the country again last year. Job well done as we continue to set the standard in competition, quality, and industry involvement. Congratulations to all for the hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit!!
As the year has begun, it is time to prepare to celebrate our successes, enjoy the comradery of our fellow exhibitors, enjoy and appreciate our families, and have a great time at our annual ASAC Convention and Awards Banquet. This year, we are very excited to host the Friday Night Live Auction in conjunction with the all new “Family Fun Night” which will feature Cornhole Tournaments for adults and youth, delicious food, the “lounge bar”, music, Pony Hops, and games for all ages---with prizes!! This should be great fun for all!!
We will also feature the popular Saturday Luncheon event again this year. Our theme this year will revolve around “Judging From Center Ring”. Our panel will feature distinguished judges from the Carolinas offering exhibitors tips and suggestions to improve their show ring performance! What an opportunity to learn from the best in the industry! This informative event will be followed by a fun “Fashion Show” that will be very entertaining!
Saturday evening will climax the weekend with the Annual ASAC Awards Banquet. This is our opportunity to reward our members who have worked hard throughout the year and achieved great success. This is also an opportunity for us to recognize those members among us who go above and beyond in exemplary service to ASAC. We will also have a special presentation this year of the first Eddie Case Memorial Scholarship. Please come out to celebrate all of our members’ success and enjoy the fellowship. We sincerely thank everyone involved in ASAC for making this convention possible and look forward to seeing all of you there!!

The 2017 ASAC Convention is scheduled for February 10-11, 2017 at the Embassy Suites, Concord, NC.
Hello everyone! I hope that this letter finds you well. I hope that everyone has had a happy and healthy holiday season as we ring in the new year and put 2015 into the record books.
We have much to be thankful for as 2015 saw many successes in the Carolinas. As we look forward to another exciting year showing and loving our American Saddlebreds and Hackney Ponies I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to attend this years convention. This is a time to celebrate the accomplishments that we all work so hard achieve. The Carolinas have become a force in the Saddlebred World and we should all be proud. Excellent work!
This year’s convention has a few small schedule changes along with free Friday night entertainment after the auction, a “Legends of the Carolinas” luncheon sponsored by Legacy Saddlebreds that celebrates Legendary Five Gaited Horses and Battles of the Carolinas and a speaker, Doug Emerson, who runs “The Profitable Horseman” business consulting service. I would encourage everyone to attend these sessions along with the regular meetings of the General Membership, the Instructors, the Carolinas Futurity and the UPHA.
A great deal of work goes into ASAC all year round by the board members and countless volunteers that sacrifice lots of time, money and sleep to make ASAC great. I would like thank everyone for all your hard work and effort. Thank you!
We look forward to seeing everyone at the convention!
